Starting November 8th, 2011 the Belarusian Museum of Contemporary Art is hosting an annual "New Collection" exhibition aimed to introduce the latest aqusition of the museum's funds to the general public.
On exhibit one can see a number of paintings and art objects created by the artists of older generation. The artworks reflect the ideas of conceptualizm and metaphoric vision which took place in the art of Belarus in the beginning of the 21st century. The core of the exhibitions is represented by such Belarusian artists, former members of "Nemiga-17" art group, as Anatoly Kuznetsov, Sergei Kiryuschenko, Natalia Zaloznaya, currently residing abroad, and sculptor Tamara Sokolova.
The second part of the exhibition presents works created by Belarusian graphic artists.
